Activated Carbon Products - GAC & PAC

We manufacture a full range of American Engineered Carbon products in both granular and powdered forms to suit different applications

Granular Activated Carbon (GAC)

Our AEC GAC features optimized particle size for use in fixed-bed filters and adsorption systems. GAC is ideal for continuous water treatment – municipalities and industrial facilities use it in filter vessels to remove contaminants from drinking water, wastewater, and process streams. It offers high adsorption capacity, long service life, and consistent performance even under high flow conditions.

Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC)

Our AEC PAC is a fine powder that can be dosed directly into water or gas streams for rapid contaminant removal. PAC is perfect for emergency contaminant treatment, seasonal taste & odor control in drinking water, and polishing industrial wastewater. Its small particle size provides a large surface area, ensuring fast kinetics and effective contact with pollutants. Hyera's PAC features finer particle sizes (<0.18mm) compared to GAC, enabling even greater adsorption efficiency
